fResource competition to win one of 5 copies of Making a Fortune: Learning from the Asian Phenomenon

A new book called Making a Fortune: Learning from the Asian Phenomenon has just been published by Wiley. Written by Dr Spinder Dhaliwal, a Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at Surrey University and author of the Asian Rich List in the Eastern Eye magazine, the book reveals the Asian businesses at the cutting edge of the entrepreneurial community. Businesses from manufacturing to finance, from food to hotels, from pharmaceuticals to fashion. It includes first, second and third generation achievers and tells the stories of household brand names from Cobra Beer to eBookers, to Joe Bloggs fashion.

The book looks at eleven wealthy Asian entrepreneurs who have made a fortune and would be very useful for those charities looking to learn more about Asian wealth with a view to engaging Asian high net worth individuals. The individuals covered are:

  1. Shami Ahmed (Juice Corporation).
  2. Surinder Arora (Arora Group)
  3. Karan Bilimoria (Cobra)
  4. Dinesh Dhamija (Ebookers.com)
  5. Firoz Kassam (Firoka Group)
