Competition terms and conditions

Terms

  • Users must meet certain criteria to be eligible for fResource competitions both at the time of entry and at the time of the draw.
  • False or deceptive entries or acts will render the entrant ineligible.
  • Any information or data you provide on this website will be managed by fResource. Please see our privacy policy for more information.
  • fResource reserves the right to modify scheduling of any fResource contest without prior notice.
  • fResource reserves the right to terminate or suspend any fResource contest without notice at any time and for any reason.

Eligibility

  • You are eligible to enter the Contest if you are:
    • 16 years old or older at time of entry.
    • not a current employee, agent, affiliate, officer or director of fResource
    • human - any use of electronic devices to enhance or alter your odds of winning will automatically disqualify you. Void wherever prohibited by law.
    • an active (subscribed and confirmed) member of the fResource website at the time of the draw. Should you choose to cancel your membership you will not be eligible for draws.
  • fResource may require winners to provide proof that they are the authorised account holders of the username used to enter the Contest. "Authorised account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet service provider, online service provider, or organisation (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the email address.
  • Any winner who does not comply with the Official Rules will be disqualified.
  • Return of any prize or prize notification as "undeliverable" will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. Ineligible entrants may be disqualified at any time at the sole discretion of fResource
  • In the event of a prize winner being disqualified, fResource is under no obligation to publish this on the site.
  • Further eligibility conditions may be featured in the individual competition terms and conditions.

Entry

  • By entering any fResource online contest, participants unconditionally agree to accept and be bound by all terms of these Official Rules, any additional individual prize draws terms and conditions, and decisions of fResource
  • There is NO PURCHASE NECESSARY to enter fResource competitions. To enter, individuals must be registered members of fresource.info. Membership to fResource.info is free and requires that users submit some basic registration information.
  • Once registered as a fResource.info member, you may, at any time, opt-out of receiving emails by visiting www.fresource.info, logging in and clicking 'Edit your details,' where you can change your contact preferences.

How to win
fResource competitions

  • Winners of fResource competitions will be randomly chosen by a representative of fResource (the "Judge") within one (1) week of the stated end date of the particular prize draws (as set forth in the individual prize draws terms) from all eligible entries received during the dates specified.
  • The decisions of the Judge will be final and binding.
  • The odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
  • The winners of all fResource contests will be notified by email within two (2) working days of the drawing and must meet all eligibility requirements including the execution and return of all necessary releases.
  • Winners will be listed on the website following receipt of confirmation. Each winner's full name and organisation will be shown.
  • Winners may be requested to supply a photograph for publication and/or take part in further promotional activities.

Prizes

  • Details of prize values for fResource contests can be found in the additional prize draws terms and conditions for the particular prize draws.
  • Prizes are non-transferable.
  • The prize winners will be chosen randomly from among all valid entries received during the term of the prize draws.
  • Prizes will be delivered to the work address of the prize winners, unless otherwise requested or stated in the additional prize draws terms and conditions for the particular prize draws.

General Conditions

  • Winners may be required to provide a copy of their driver's license, sign affidavits of eligibility, liability releases and, except where prohibited by law, publicity releases and return within five (5) days of issuance of notification.
  • In the event that: i. such affidavits and releases are not signed; ii. any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable; or iii. the winner declines or fails to properly claim his or her prize within five (5) days of notification (or in accordance with any other prize notification requirements) then that winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected by random drawing at fResource's sole discretion.
  • fResource expressly disclaims any responsibility and each participant hereby agrees to release and to hold fResource (and its respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders, parent companies, agents, marketing partners and affiliates) harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the prize or resulting from the delivery, acceptance and/or subsequent use or misuse of any prize awarded, including without limitation, personal injury, death and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.
  • fResource and its parents, subsidiaries, franchisees, participating vendors, distributors, marketing partners and affiliated entities are not responsible for: i. any condition caused by events beyond the control of fResource that may cause an fResource Contest to be disrupted or corrupted; ii. any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by a prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a prize, or from participation in any fResource Contest; or iii. any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with any fResource contest. Any entry that fails to provide all required information will be disqualified.
  • fResource is not responsible for and shall not be liable for: i. late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries; ii. telephone, electronic, hardware, or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, delays or difficulties; iii. errors in transmission; or iv. prize deliveries attempted but not received.
  • All entries must be submitted in the name of an individual person and the prize can only be awarded to the person whose name is associated with the member account.
  • No mechanical reproductions or facsimiles of entries will be accepted.
  • Participants may not enter using multiple email addresses or as multiple participants. Any participant who attempts to enter with multiple email addresses or under multiple identities, or uses any other device to enter multiple times will be disqualified.
  • fResource reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend any fResource Contest should virus, bugs, unauthorised human intervention, or other causes beyond the control of fResource, in its sole opinion, corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper operation of the prize draws or for any other reason at the sole discretion of fResource.
  • In the event of cancellation, fResource may, in its sole discretion, elect to award the prize to a winner randomly drawn from among all participants who had validly entered the prize draws at the time of such cancellation.
